Yulin dog meat survivors headed to Oregon rescue, via Northern California

Caucasian Shepherd puppy rescued from Yulin dog meat festival.

Five Caucasian Shepherd puppies, also known as Russian Bear Dogs, are on their way to the United States after being rescued from the dog meat eating festival in Yulin, China. The five are due in San Francisco on Wednesday, where they will overnight before being driven by rescue volunteers to rescue in Oregon on Thursday.

I am working to get someone associated with these impressive animals — the grow to 160 pounds or more — on the program to talk about the rescue and how the dogs are doing at the rescue.
