This Sunday: HSUS on Trophy Hunting and Help During COVID, Dog Behavioralist Dr. Jim Ha, Palo Alto Humane

Laura is doing such a great job booking shows that we are now able to promote the programs much earlier in the weekly cycle.

Here’s a quick look at who will be on this Sunday, March 29th. Please join us between noon and 2 PM on 1080AM, 104.1FM in Santa Cruz or worldwide streaming at KSCO.com.

HSUS

Amanda Wight is Wildlife Protection Manager at the Humane Society of the United States. This is a return visit as her first appearance — on a terribly windy Sunday — was repeatedly interrupted by weather and traffic updates.

She will discuss trophy hunting and the HSUS position on hunting more generally.

Sabrina Ashjian, California State Director of HSUS, will be along to discuss animals and COVID-19 and what HSUS is doing to help.

Dr. Jim Ha is author (below) of Dog Behavior: Modern Science and Our Canine Companions. It is a textbook, which explains that the price is for the Kindle verison. It is an excellent book that Laura recommends highly. This is Dr. Ha’s second appearance on KSCO Pet Radio.

Leonor Delgado is Education Manager at the Palo Alto Humane Society nd we will talk about community human education, building humane kids, sheltering more generally, and how Palo Alto compares to other places.
