Paw’d Cast: Joys of Rescue Transport

rescued chihuahua

This chihuahua puppy was rescued from a drug house where it was being tormented by children. It has since been adopted into a loving family.

Jules Beer and Jennifer Colletto are two of the volunteers that my wife Elionora and I work with helping to transport rescued animals around Northern California. These missions typically start with a shelter, rescuer, or foster parent and take the animal sometimes several hundred miles to veterinary care and/or a rescue group that will work with the animal and, eventually, adopt it into a new home.

In this podcast, we discuss the why and how of rescue and share some recent rescue experience. If you would like to become involved in helping to transport homeless animals to safety and new homes, please contact me using the form below and I will point you to the proper contact in your area.

Rescue transport does not take a lot of time, is not a long-term commitment to an animal, but is critical to saving the lives of homeless pets.
