“Kitten Emergency” & What’s Happening on this Site

Information

I have added links to our “Kitten Emergency” section to help people who find orphaned kittens. I have created the subdomains kitten.kscopetradio.com and kittens.kscopetradio.com to make it easier to for readers to help kittens are quickly as possible. Both pages go to the “Kitten Emergency” category listing of posts on this site.

During lockdown, I’ve spent many, many hours trying to make this website more useful, faster responding, and more efficient. We’ve moved to a new host and Content Distribution Network (CDN) and have unloaded a tremendous amount of “heavy” content, generally photos included in feeds from outside blogs. Any blogs you’d like to see?

Getting rid of images speeds up and, sadly, de-beautifies this site. I had Google ads running for a few days, but decided they bothered me (and they didn’t generate any real income).

I have a new and better way of displaying PDF documents within posts. I am looking for a better way to share posts to social media. We post to Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn right now.

It would be a real treat if more people would support us on Patreon. Please see the link above. We do need your $$ help to continue this volunteer-run program and website.
