Rebecca has been working with wildlife since 1981 when she obtained her first permit from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife to rescue and rehabilitate injured animals. She is founder and director of a nonprofit – National Association for Wildlife Emergency Services, and a leading expert in the field. In 2012 she published a book, Wildlife Search and Rescue: A Guide for First Responders (Wiley Blackwell). From 1986 to 2015, Rebecca operated a mobile pet care business, giving it up to focus on her latest venture, Humane Wildlife Control. Check out her curriculum vitae, HERE.
