1/21 Lineup: Project Purr, Dog-Training-By-Radio, Emancipet low-cost care, Missing Animal training course, help for senior dogs, and more!

Here is the lineup for this week’s KSCO Pet Radio, which airs live from Noon – 2pm PT on-the-air and live on the Internet, too. This is still work-in-progress, especially some of the bio links.

Hour 1:

Lynne Achterberg and X, Project Purr — Cat rescue, spay and neuter (free) and other services.

Christy Caplan, Mylifewithdogspdx.com — Talking about senior dogs and answering questions about caring for our older friends.

Laura Pakis, Acme Canine, Dog-Training-By-Radio —

Kat Albrecht talking about her 8-week Missing Animal Response course that starts Monday (short podcast) and again in early March. I’m taking the one that starts 1/22.

Hour 2:

Ian Hallett, VP Central Texas, Emancipet — Emancipet is a nonprofit on a mission to make high-quality spay/neuter and veterinary care affordable and accessible to all pet owners. We manage an expanding national network of high-quality, low-cost clinics; offer customized training and consulting programs to animal welfare organizations nationwide; and advocate for strategies and public policy that improve the lives of pets in underserved communities.

Jen Walker (tentative), Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter — When she was hear on 1/7 we never really talked about the shelter. So we will this time.
